What To Expect

Your First Visit

Visiting a new church can be intimidating: What should I wear? Where do my kids go?

In order to help you feel more comfortable when you visit, we have tried to answer some questions you may have in advance. If you choose to worship with us, there will be people available to assist you. If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

When are services held?

Our worship services are on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

What is a worship service like?

Engaging in corporate worship brings people closer to each other and to God. Our worship at Parkwood stirs the hearts of everyone involved. From the uplifting music, to the preaching of God's Word by our Pastor, the services here compel our diverse congregation to magnify Christ together.

What should I wear?

There is not a dress code at Parkwood Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in traditional “Sunday” dress; however, we want you to feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Parkwood Baptist!

Where do my children go?

We provide a nursery for birth through age 3. All of our nursery workers have been CPR and First Aid certified and have been trained to make sure we provide a fun, safe, and clean environment for your babies while you worship. We also provide a Children's Church that takes place at the same time as the adults worship for kids age 4-7.
